Fished 8-3ish with enough action to keep it interesting. Rose 3 fish on gliders but couldnt get em to eat. Finally got one to rip a gma and lost it right at the net (damn solo trips) guessing it was upper 30s but still woulda been nice to break the ice. A bit later put the hooks into another smaller mid to upper 30 fish that ate a burt and again hooks pulled out. Early afternoon clouds cleared out and wind REALLY picked up. Found some solitude at a last spot and burt produced again. This time slid the net under a scarred up 38". All in all decent day. Got 3 to eat and moved 3 others and also noticed a few swimmin around up shallow. No big gal sightings tho. Mostly smaller males from what I could tell

Good work! Anytime you get 3 eaters it is a good day, especially at this time of year. I was there yesterday and temps were 53-55 and water clarity was around 10' when out of the wind. Shallow weeds (celery crap) aren't up yet, but there are some huge mounds of milfoil up shallow. Some good pondweed and milfoil out deeper, but not close to anything like in the summer.
