Michelle and I ventured out hoping to repeat the 2010 madness with our planer boards. No dice. water temps 52 to 54 started at 8 am . the entire center of the main basin is still choked with weed spires like pine trees which even fooled the depth finder. Nothing doing trolling at all. Michelle managed a couple of casting sessions but her left arm is still toast. I got one 38 inch scarred up fish on a little Claw about 3:00 pm. It was a nice day except for the lack of trolling success. We saw one other fish shallow on a sand bar. Mike
Last years , dead mounds like trees. Unreal. When we trolled that lake in 2010 there was nothing out there but fish. The mounds are so dense they fool my depth finder. These may drop in a week or so who knows. Lilly pads are not forming in the deep water yet but are already starting to choke the channel east. We didn't see any green weeds anywhere.
