Beautiful fall fishing weather made for a last minute change of plans from hunting. Turned out to be a good choice, although the fish activity was short lived. Water looked great, 5-6' visibility, 45, weeds dying back in great looking clumps.
Fished from noon to 6:30 but 6 of the 7 fish raised were between 1:30 and 2:30, unfortunately just before John C. could join me… disappointed for John's sake but on a selfish note I was thankful for the great day on the water. Fat healthy fish, liked glide baits, biggest was about 41.
That's just my luck I fished from 730 – 12 and HAD to be home by 1230 or I would have been fishing! I had one mid 40s come in hot but at the last second decided not to eat a bait with weeds on it's hooks. Oh and as a side note the dock on the left is made out of composite decking wow is that stuff slippery with frost on it!

Probably just as bad as the metal one at Thorn! Almost fell on my keister. LOL.
