Weeds: new growth but very hard to see
Had the boat in the water at 6 but didn't get it started till 7:30. Went to my favorite spot got a 33.5" on the 10th cast. Fat & healthy not very beat up after that it went downhill. After we got there could never get the boat started again, think there is a air leak in the gas line. Rick (RickySoxWrangler) came along with 2 of his fishing partners and we talked. After that made a command decision to try and make it back to the boat launch, using the trolling motor and fighting a east wind we were about half way there and didn't know if we would make it. Then the calvarly came along (Rick). He towed us back to the boat launch at which time it started sleeting. It's nice to have friends and members like Rick. Rick Your My Hero (you can't hear it but I am screaming that in a girlish voice 🙄 ) I owe you Rick, you saved our bacon.
Hey, no prob Steve. That's what we're all supposed to do, right? Actually I kinda felt bad that I hadn't offered to tow you back right away. I guess at first I figured you were just going to fish back to the ramp.
Good job on the fish! Hearing you say you caught one gave us a shot of confidence in that sh**ty weather.
