Conditions were the same as Steve previously mentioned exept that there were areas of chocolate milk due to the rain. We woke up later than planned and got out there around 8:00 A.M. Talked to Steve shortly after we started fishing and he told us he caught one. We watched another guy catch one. Heard a few others say they boated a fish. We didn't see one until noonish. Then they made some appearances. Contacted 5 with no actual hook-ups. One of them had the rear treble of my twitch bait hanging from the smallest piece of skin on his lip for about 2 feet and then he was gone. All this action was during freezing rain/rain. Those fish were VERY lazy, but at least they showed themselves. After the rain quit, fish activity came to a halt. Right around 6:00, I decided that was enough casting in that crappy weather. We ditched the casting gear for trolling gear and refreshments to end the day. After an hour of trolling we popped a 40" and called it a day.
Today (29th), we woke up even later than the previous morning. By the time we packed up camp and got on the water it was 10:30-11:00. We trolled and caught a 36 1/2. Chris Mahan was out on the water as well. Michigan Musky Hunters had an outing there on Sat. and I think they boated 5 fish.
