Hamlin Lake winter notes: I went up to Ludington with lousy max 40mph snow/ice driving to our annual MCWA board meeting. For the meeting we talk walleye and on the side we talk muskie. There is certainly full support for the muskie from the walleye association. One guy heard of one legal size muskie caught on tip-up and released. Another Hamlin lake Association guy said there was about 26" size muskie caught and released. Comic story there was a bluegill fisher in shallow water hooked a small bluegill and the muskie grabbed on for the fast short trip ride out the hole before it knew what happened. Ice fishing only had a one month season. That's all folks. Dang lousy max 40mph snow/ice driving back home wasn't any better.

Forget that last Hamlin Lake report. SW and SE got lost in the snow storm. After laughing erase both postings.[smilie=cold.gif]
