Water was 54 to 58
Fished several lakes in and out of the chains
BIG North winds (which sucked)

Stayed at Thurston Park for 2 nights and bundled up with night time temps hitting the high 20's (Thank you Jack, Jonnie Walker black, and Shorts Brewery for keeping us warm)….to make a long story short we caught 3 muskies 34, 39, 41….several other species….1 swing and miss (sorry residents of cenral lake for the profanity but realistic densities and natural fish that miss…. get the REALLY BAD WORDS OUT 🙄 ) and a very nice, but lazy Bit#@ make an impressive move on my bucktail the last morning. I needed that fish to make my trip, but live to fight another day right? Hit Margrethe on the way home and got tired of the wind and small pike. At that point I don't think our bodies could handle any more. My thumb is cracked, hands hurt, some forearm issues, too much sun and brown liqour…..

Hey, man. 3 muskies would make my trip. Too bad about the bigger fish though. They always seem to elude…. Great job nonetheless!

I once roared and cussed on a lost 55 ish fish on a remote Upper peninsula lake. It was so quiet out there I am sure they heard me all the way to Manistique ha ha ha . I know the feeling. Mike

Mike. That's hilarious! This was that fish that you don't see, but probably landed on her head, immediate strike, hook "set", absolutely solid as a rock, then slip, slip…..gone [smilie=brickwall.gif] (after 10 hrs of casting on 3 lakes)
