Got to Ellsworth launch at 5:45am and only saw one guy there with a New Mr. Pike Lund yellow? Not sure if it was anyone from MMA… So we figured we would fish until more people showed up because the water looked beautiful, glass with a heavy fog and I couldn't wait to get my top raider clacking.

Hung around that end of the lake for an hour and caught a couple of pike while waiting for people to show up but huh, not a soul around. Oh well, I figured everyone was fishing and we would see people around. Fished all down Ellsworth, through Hanley, and down to Intermediate. Only other muskie boat we saw was a Green and Tan Lowe docked in Hanley with the name "muskie shakes" he was fishing that day but not sure who it was…

Anyways, nothing to report on the fishing side of things, various clarity through the lakes, great weeds everywhere, lots of pike, no skies spotted. Started out cool and beautiful but the sun came out and it got hot fast. We called it a day around 1:00 and stopped for a beer at dockside on the way home.
