Virgin water Tuesday for me, my opener. Surprised how big Hamlin is…. Fished the northern section from 8ft to 3ft of water (which was the warmest I could find) 11am to 3pm. Wasn't feeling the musky mojo so I sized her down a bit and got to pikin. 3 under 30" Cyberlunge showed himself @ the launch and wasnt liking the venue either, too stained, tanic, windy…shoved off for a new destination. Managed to knock down some healthier pike with several birds of prey in the area and a whiter esox that may or may not have been of the spotted variety, no go, kiss my boil boys. Fished hard, even though we didnt get after any skis had a blast w Kevin and thanks again for the ongoing education of the NW buddy. Note: It is so much fun throwing new stuff from the winter, but your going to real pissed when Ms Piggy shows up and slips off of your plastic hook covers…… [smilie=brickwall.gif] I would have tied anchor around ankle and slid into the abyss. OMG what an idiot ( i was a little excited to be fishing I think) REMATCH 5-15!
