Fished: 2:30-8:30 with Steve (mayhem) and Jon (swanezy)
Temps: 77-79
Weeds: Weed choked in the shallows, but nice/fishable milfoil and coontail going down to 9'
Clarity: Pretty good @2'+ depending on wind
Got out today with some other young guns and had a nice day on the water. We were worried about the cold front, but that stayed off until we were off the lake so that helped a lot. Had action on plastics, jerkbaits and topwaters. Pictures and video to come.
Very nice fish, guys. [smilie=applause.gif]
I caught one there this weekend with some sores on it too, but they didn't look NEARLY as ugly as that fish's last year whose sores were very deep and scummy looking. These lesions were red, and partly healed. What I saw on your fish didn't look as horrible as that fish last year, either.
yea hemi, my fish was the only one with it, and they looked almost like lamprey type lesions, but they were more spread out and all raw looking, but slightly healed in its anal area.. and around it's pelvic fins on the bottom? You can see when i try to turn the fish at the end of the video before it flips out of my hand and scoots off..
It didn't seem to affect the fish, although she was pretty skinny for her size
ur link didn't work for me hemi,
this one should work

The lesion's looked iffy, but not life threatening, I didn't have the heart to kill a fish that size, and seemingly pretty healthy other than being a little under weight
