Water temp = 73-75 in the channels. 76-83 in the lake depending on where you were.

Clarity = 4-8 foot in most areas

The goal of this trip was to catch my first spottie and do it casting as well as catch enough wallye for a fish fry. We accomplished both, although it was a struggle at best. Put in about 12 hours of casting, most of which was terribly boring with only a few small fish moved and one lost fish. One crazy 30 minute flurry saved the trip though with a 42 and a 37 making it into the net with 3 other follows. The 37 had a strange deformity in its back but was a healthy fish otherwise. All the action was on big blades although we threw the kitchen sink at them.
