Scott W. and I arrived to a surprise of muddy water everywhere around the Anchor Bay region. Water temps in the upper 50s, couldn't see weeds to comment on their status, the clarity was that bad (we heard later it was something about big winds on Lake Huron with the stirred up water then flowing through to LSC). We eventually got three respectable fish in the net the first day and were thankful for it.
On day two we tried a different area with good water clarity, thanks to much appreciated help from Detroithardcore (Scott B.). Battled floating weed debri on most casts and were glad to eventually get three more decent fish that day too, with other good chances. Had a great time over the two days on water I don't get to much, and fishing in some unexpected conditions. Thanks to both Scott's for making this trip a really good one.
I'm glad you guys did well! It was and still is pretty bad conditions out there. I have never seen LSC this muddy/Cloudy and it's been hanging around all week. It will improve significantly over the next couple days. Great Job Joe and Scott!! You guys defintely earned all those fish considering what you were up against!
