Water Temp-61- degrees

Water Color- Silty Green

Fished Lower Detroit River 7:30 – 11:30 AM, tried trolling than casting. Had no hits Terminators, Grandma, and DC-10. Hit one hit on Red/Yellow Double Eagle Tail while casting, did not see any other fish. Talked to a couple of other guys who were casting and move a couple fish and had a good fish on for a short time. Alot of boat traffic so I will wait to Monday to go back out

I was on the river Saturday as well. Fished fighting island area from 5am til 9am. No fish in the net. My buddy caught the largest silver bass I've ever seen on a musky jitterbug.

Yea I have got into a couple of times his year. Once had an outdoor writer in the boat, we didn't have to leave the marina where my boat is, caught maybe 200 in 3 hours. Last Thursday, I was on the Ontario side of the river and got into to them again. I landed about 40 on 5 weight fly rod in the morning and then took my wife out that afternoon, she caught about 80 fish on ultralight and I caught another 25 on fly rod had a ball on both occasions.

I saw some previous posts on some Muskie taken in some key Walleye spots in the River during the spring runs. Has anyone had any success targeting them in the river in the Fall or areas close the LSC.

We fished the Canadian side at the mouth of LSC last weekend, from the sand pit on down, it was a slow day with the cold front pushing through. Kids on the piers reported a few caught on dawgs. Bondy boated a few I think, his website seems to report recent fish. Had 2 hits shred rubber, no hooks.
