Temp: 79-80
Clarity/Color: 6-8'. Slight green stain
Weeds: The curly blossoms are thick in the shallows. Coontail still strong & green, but not as high in some spots than in previous years. Some very deep sandgrass as well.
Fished from 4:45-11am. Moved a ton of fish from 36"-48" right after sunrise all on Bulldawgs. I still need some improvement on my figure O's. Had 4 or 5 hot fish turning with their mouth open, showing aggression, but couldn't seal the deal. Lost one more fish jiggin a Red October on the bottom in 20 FOW. Fish that SHOULD have hit the net: 36,42,44,38,48.

Nice!….I bet it felt good to get out. I have been Jones'n. What was the water clarity and temp like Jim?
HAHA!! Read the above! You skipped all my info. The only reason I went out is because it first called for rain all morning. And we had 2 nights in a row in the 60's. I would be careful now with any sunshine. The sun poked out just a couple times, and raised the temps 1/2 degree at a time.
Like I said too, though, even with the sun out for a few minutes, it was warming it right up. Literally every 5 minutes of sun, the temp would go up 1/2 degree. If anyone tries it, please use caution, and water release only. A picture is NOT worth a dead fish. There was a 43"er that died a little while ago with temps anywhere from 81-84. It was intended to go back, but the guy was a little slow at getting her into the water after a few fumbled pics. After 2 hours of trying to revive her, she ended up on the floor of the boat. Please, please, be careful!
