Went out to muuray last night
Water was 81-84, and pretty cloudy green in color. A lot more than i remember last year. visibility about 2-3'
pretty calm weather and sunny.
We fished from 6:30-10:30PM. Casted till about 9:00 and could see no follows, and didn't see much agression at all, then at 9 we started trolling and started seeing a lot more activity. My buddy caught a 36", his first musky and biggest fish ever, then had another about the same about 5 minutes later. I then had a couple hits casting that area on top water, one was real small like a bass, but the other was pretty nice but missed.
So we were 1-2 both on a super shad rap, the surface was on a weagle.

Just as an update about the water temps. Before i decided to fish I noticed on the graph that there was a line in about 10', so i dropped the temp sensor down to it, and found more acceptable temps, low 70's. Thankfully the fish was landed and not even brought in the boat because of the hotter surface water, and went down easy…it is a beautiful thing watching them swim away

Great call. Water release is the route to go.
