Well she did it 😀 One 40 inch musky on a sucker to move back into first place by 11 points. I hope its enough because I am ready to call it a year. It was really pretty pleasant today but a little cold. Water temps at 42.1 so there is still time for any of you die hards to get another big fish. We only moved one small fish all morning and it was looking kind of bleak for Michelle,s chances. Then at 1:00 pm they started moving on Little claws in Brook trout patterns. We had two real good fish up that just plain missed the lures then at 2:30 one came in on my Little Claw and went under the boat only to come back out and munch Michelle,s sucker rod. I had to get picture of that last fish and will post it sometime here. 40 inches and real fat. After that it was slow all the way till dark when I finally got one on my Brook trout Little Claw. Only 37 inches but Ill take it. I should have had a real hog earlier but thats Muskie fishing . Its been a great season and I hope Michelle,s lead holds until Jan 1st. Im going to wait until december 15th to post her last 7 fish so for now it still looks like she is in third. I put the starcraft away for the season when we got home. If for some reason we have to fish again it will be from our little jon boat. Saw Will, Charlie and Joe and chatted with them all. It was a nice day to be on the water. Mike and Michelle

Congrats Mike & Michelle! Great talking to you. The two of you are a tremendous source of solid info. Joe, I hope your sucker got chomped again after we chatted. Will seemed to be camped out in a favorite part of Murray for him, when I left. That usually means "fish on"!

I'll get out one more time today. With the weather forecast next week, it's time to call it a year.

Charlie

She wants to fish tomorrow on Osterhout. Im like a whipped puppy. Im sore ,tired and both of my record reels are failing to engage the spool. If we go Ill be using all backup old reels I guess she doesnt think 11 points is enough . . Also we are out of Suckers. Mike

Excellent job, Michelle and Mike! And it's great seeing my fellow MMA people on the water, I like knowing I'm not alone in this insanity. Blew my only chances but thankful to get some action, and a nice bonus day this late in the year. Michelle I hope you get another before it's done, and Charlie I hope you score today too.

Man, I almost feel bad that you two let me tag along earlier in the year to show me the ropes of trolling. I believe it was 6 or 7 that I caught with you two. I hope she hangs on to win. Thanks alot to you both. The information you two taught me is priceless! Merry Christmas!

Rick, we would not have had the money to fish at all had you not let us store our boat at your house. Plus the extra rods equaled the extra fish. We owe you thanks. Mike and Michelle

Mike, I hate to break it to you, but you better get back out there… Without the fish from Friday, Michelle is behind by 80 points. [smilie=cry.gif] She is standing in 3rd place.

We have not turned in 7 fish from the 29th 30th and december 3rd. Michelle has 739 points. We are waiting for december 15th when st clair closes to post them. You have 30 days from the day caught to post the fish. No sense making Yerman go back to st. clair . Michelle will stay in 3rd until 12/15 . Mike

Ok, I gotcha. I didn't realize you were holding onto 7 fish. I just thought it was the 1 40"er. Hopefully Yerman's not doing the same thing!

Yes Lynn could have fished in November and have 800 points for all we know. Historically she posts all of her fish as soon as she gets back from fishing. Her husband has entered many fish over the years in November from local lakes in PA. Im surprised she doesnt fish with him in November . Maybe this year she did. But there is not much more we can do about it if she did. W e will post our fish on the 15th and see what happens. My hope is she is not thinking about Michelle in third and just looking to beat Latoza by a couple points. She needs 61 points to take over first from Cathy. That would be equal to 5- 36 inch fish with one at 37. Or several big fish which we all know can happen. Anyway its a waiting game now. The other thing is after the 15th we still have two weeks to go south. Cave run, Green river, Dale Hollow and Melton Hill all have good Guides working those waters in December. I have a good relationship with hall of fame guide Fred McClintock on Dale Hollow . He runs some of our big baits down there. Tennessee Muskies start going in December when they come up from the deep water staging for the spawn as the waters cool off. Its a trolling bite in 10 to 35 feet of water. We are pretty good at that tactic. Mike
