I went to the dam in freeport for some early bass on the coldwater river, and end up catching a 14inch brownie. first fish of the year for me

Careful there, the C&R bass season doesn't open until the last Saturday in April. I would hate to see anyone get a fine or loose their fishing license.

Downstream from Freeport Rd. is open all year for trout, so you can keep on fishing! Just maybe not with a 1/2 ounce spinnerbait, but I'm sure that's not what that nice brown took anyway eh!
