Fished: 6-10pm
Water Temp: 67
Weeds: Lots of milfoil all around down to 12', Chara in a good amount of places and some pondweed in small bunches.
Clarity: About the perfect clarity at 3-4'

Fished bucktails and topwaters in various colors. Moved two fish only, but both were eaters at boatside. The cooler water temps are great as the fish fight hard and revive quickly.

Every time I think about going there it rains pretty hard a day or two before, and I definitely don't want to hit that lake after a hard rain lol.

Most seasons I visit Thorn a fair amount and sometimes it clears and fishes better after some pretty heavy rains, other times I guess wrong and it's a mess. It's easy to be too influenced by the rain amounts where I live, though just 30 min from Thorn, when they might or might not correlate with what hit the river's watershed that funnels through that ugly damn lake. For what it's worth, it looked pretty good this past Saturday, anyway.
