Water temperature 76.5 to 78 degrees, a little August window of opportunity
Water clarity fine, can see everything in most places
Weeds lush in typical areas, some floaters, not a huge problem
Weather cloudy turning mostly clear, winds calm to light SW
Fished 9:45AM- 1:15PM
Brought my perch rod in case water was too warm but it was OK. Ran into probably three muskies using the same structure around noon, one committed on a bucktail and the Beckman got wet at 35 inches. Saw some big smallies cruising.
