Boat traffic was a sight to behold. There was a Sheriff on the water checking every boat which was welcome. I came close to hooking a Jet ski , passed behind me while I was casting a fly (on the backhand) , heard him shout "hey watch it" as he passed within 25 feet of my boat. I just just shrugged at him.

I gotta tell ya, there is a large tri-pontoon boat on Austin with a massive engine that was cruising by within casting distance at full speed but it was the most amusing thing I have seen in some time, the boat was just loaded with people and the guy was whipping it around in tight turns, made me laugh.

Only on Austin!

I am going to back the boat into the water tonight and get a temp reading, if its too hot, I am going to pull out and chase some big girls at lake X.
