Fished from 7-10pm water is crystal clear in most areas on the lake. hook to net percentage 100% – 2 for 2 with a 41 and a 43.5. All in all my hook to net percentage is 4 for 36 and hopefully I have that curse out of the boat now. The fish this week are hitting and fighting crazy hard, I dont remember them like this last year-could be an age thing :-).

An observation. I have been catching hammer handles in my favorite muskie spots, am over 10 this year on Austin. These are the first first pike I have caught in all my years fishing out at Austin, coming mostly on King Fisher and moski twitch baits.
