Cruised around Anchor bay from 0600-1200. Checked out Salt River, Strawberry Island and the area near SANG. This lake is definitely a different kind of monster from what I usually fish, there is just so much water that it's really hard to find a good spot. This was more of a "getting to know you" trip than fishing. I spent most of my time driving around trying to find structure that looked good for future trips. Fishing there with someone that knows the lake would be key I think. Water temps were low to mid 70's most places and around 80 near the launch going in. It was a nice day to check out the lake.
