Main lake-
Fished: 7:30 – 3:00
Water temp: 43-46
Water Clarity: stained

Fished hard without so much as a sighting. Talked to a half dozen other boats, none of which reported any sightings or follows. Tried kickin-minnows, Jr. dcg's, super shad raps, phantoms, you name it, no luck.

Backwaters-
Fished: 3:00-5:00
Water Temp: 46-49
Water Clarity: stained

Based on the advice of the Indiana DNR officer we talked to, we decided to try the backwaters. Finally saw two fish, both low-mid 30's. One was at the mouth of the creek on the SE end in about 1.5 ft. of water. Buzzed a Mepps Musky Marabou right over his head which only spooked it. Then we headed up the creek for the hell of it and spotted one under that "rope-bridge" in about 2 ft of water, it also showed no interest in our baits at all.

Boy, sounds like Webster has been tough for awhile… I'm sure it will pick up once the spawn is over.
