John C. and I hit the water from 6:30-10:30. Been a while since I had seen the lake, my it had changed. Back to the ol ugly water, but the temps were at least holding ok at a high of 77. Unfortunately my trolling motor went on the fritz and all but prevented us from fishing effectively. Should have trolled to better our odds, but what the heck…

Missed one fish on a deep crank, had another small fish follow the same, and then had a nicer fish waking and charging the weagle towards dusk that would have been an easy one to convert if the stupid trolling motor wouldn't have been blasting right at it at 100% power with the only way to kill it to pull the plug! Johnny was on the spot to help me out, but the fish was gone.

New main circuit board should be here soon to get me back on track.
