Fished 7 PM – 9:30 PM. Got the weather-induced fever and needed to hit the water bad. Took my 5 & 3 year old girls, so it was a hoot. But they mostly played and I was able to mostly fish. There was a sizable bass tourney though, so the "spots" were taken all night. I had one thing on my mind only- topwater! So I weagled some marginal water & open water all night. I've been missing some good [size=150]waking[/size] so far this year, and I did get to see some! Had a couple fish up, one smaller and one bigger, the bigger took a hearty swipe eventually, but missed. Nice night, but no slime.
