Sorry for the late post, but this might kinda be a clue as to where the fish were and what they were doing, not that it helped us catch much either though. Fished from 10am to 5pm, weather was pretty decent with a chop on the water and generally overcast. Had only a few late, slow follows off the better spots/points on the lake until one of those windows opened… Nothing exceptional but, a chunky 34 ate out of the blue, and then for a very short period there were fish from out of the woodwork. The woodwork being dense, shallow weeds that you could hardly fish over or through. But for a short time the fish were on top of those and blowing up. Went back on those fish to try and get them to actually connect, and NOTHING. I think they might be buried in that stuff!…
