Fished LSC from 11-5:30 on Saturday with my father-in-law, very glad to make it out for the last time this year (didn't think it was going to happen). Went 2 for 4 casting. Landed a 43" on a Bulldawg and a ~38" on the "Bully" (didn't measure, took awhile on the hooks, so I didn't want to mess with it very long). I was very surprised to see the fish were still so active in 47 degree water. The 43" hammered the bait and stayed deep for awhile. The 38" hit agressively in the figure "D". My father-in-law had on a low 40'" fish on a Bulldawg early that got off.
Weeds stilll looked fairly healthy. I was really sad to leave knowing it was the last trip before next year. Work really got in the way this year, hopefully next year won't be so bad. I'll post pics when he sends them to me…
