Clarity/Color: We found anything from chocolate milk (Anchor Bay) to clear & 9' visibility (Grassy).
Weeds: I have no idea what's normal for this time of year, but all the pondweed we were used to fishing in June is gone. Good weedlines on both sides of the shipping channel which held it's fair share of fish.

Fished from 7:30am-2:30pm with Edalz. Launched from Selfridge. Concentrated most of our efforts along the deep channels where the dropoff was the steepest. Landed 1 40"er FATTY. Literally 2 casts later, lost another that was about the same size. Not even 1 minute after that, lost one that I feel comfortable saying would have been my new PB. 👿 Ed's good luck strikes again! Thanks for the great time, Ed! Oh, and I got to see a Tiger. About a 32-34"er followed my dawg in. As I did a F-8, it just stopped next to the boat and watched me turn. Cool lookin' little guy.
