I wanted to upgrade from my droid gps to something better. I picked up the Lowrance Elite 5 from a friend of mine and was wondering if anybody has any opinions on this unit. It has to be better than the phone app. which is a quick battery killer!

I'm looking at the Lowrance Elite 5 DSI for my boat this year, but don't have any feedback for you!
