• 9:30 AM Headliner: How To’s from an Expert Angler, Mark Romanack
• 10:00 AM: The Science behind what the angler already “knows”:
Where are the fish going to be?
o Muskie: Will Schultz, Michigan Muskie Alliance
o Trout: Todd Wills/Andy Neufer, DNRE
o Bass/Panfish: Kevin Wehrly, DNRE
• 11:30 AM: The Online Tools to Find Your Next Hot Spot, Tammy Newcomb/Erika, MDNRE
• Lunch
• 1:30 PM: Mapping it out: Where is this quality habitat in Michigan? Where are the fish? RS/GIS/GPS using technology to find it
o Craig Myers, Midwest Sales Manager, multiple electronics companies
• 2:30 PM: Creating/Restoring Your Own Sweet Spot: Case studies
o Lakes/Shoreline (Jo Latimore, MSU, Natural Shoreline person)
o Streambank restoration/Large Woody Debris (Huron Pines RC&D)
• 4:00 PM: Wrap up, evaluation



Cost to attend: $15 for current MUCC members (individual and affiliated club members) or $30 for non-members. This cost includes a continental breakfast and lunch; non-members will also receive a 1-year membership to MUCC.
