it would seem if we r throwing fish back, we might also use natural bait like cedar lures for instance , not plastic, plastic thoughts i get is palmolive bottles and lee press ons. not hunting for vicious scales , hope they never punish the naturalist for using great baits by taxing...just partly kidding

I'm sure somebody in Lansing or D.C. has or is devising a way to tax our outdoor pursuits already

Understand, if we can get a tax deduction for putting on new doors/windows this past year thus helping save the enviorment. We do other things that are just as significant, but receive no tax deduction.

For instance:

I am sure catch and release in some way or another saves tax dollars. A few years back someone in Minnesota estimated a muskie over a certain size was worth a few hundred dollars. So if you catch one, and release it, you are technically saving the state money in "making" another fish like this. This should be a tax deduction for muskie fisherman.

One also wonders if using no lead lures, sinkers should also be a tax deduction. I am further helping save the enviorment. I know it sounds funny...but so does some of the tax deductions they allow. So I say...why not?
