Hello,

How are particular bodies of water chosen for muskie stocking? Biological makeup,forage,size,location....besides fisheries biologists,who else is involved in this process? MMA?

Great question, I wish I had a determining decision in the matter. There are a couple of lakes that I would see stock piled with fish.

The question I have to ask is how can Michigan be so far behind the other states around us in matters such as musky stocking and whitetail management. There are improvments being made I guess, but we still must be in the dark.

I'm still interested to hear from anyone who can shed some light on this>
