REALLY?!?! :shock: Wow. I hope that mentality never becomes policy on these shores.

That snippet goes on to talk about a fish's ability to sense pain (or lack thereof). I can believe that, since I've poked a score of fish in Ovid last year with tags under the dorsal fin and not one of them showed any observable sign of pain/discomfort I could detect.
