KTD Upper Peninsula

Post by Steve Horton » Thu Aug 28, 2008 1:36 pm

Just thought I'd give a brief update on the KTD push for the upper half. I spoke with Richard Hill, Jr. out of the Marquette DNR office who is the brand new person in charge of the boat launches. He was more than happy to help us post the signs and seemed very proactive toward the cause. I will be dropping off signs to Indian Lake State park as a matter of convienence on the way east this weekend so he can get them ASAP. I am also forwarding to him the spreadsheet with the list of managed muskie waters along with contact numbers for Dave Anderson and myself if he had questions. He stated that he and his crew would be happy to be part of this and that he'd get the signs up in relatively short order. I will also drop off signs to John Nutkins hopefully this weekend if I can get a hold of him. Signs have been given to the forest service for the HWY 13 lakes but as of last week had not been posted yet. Signs have been posted at both Raber Bay launches. Thats the update. Hope everyone's having a better season than I am..........very slow this year!

Awesome!
