Looking for a 24 volt minn kota

Post by Cyberlunge » Tue Jun 26, 2012 5:12 pm

I know there were a few for sale a while ago but mine has since exemplified what happens when the unstoppable trolling motor meets the immovable stump and now I need a new one...

Have you called MinnKota? The shafts are "unbreakable" even though they do break. A buddy broke one just yesterday and he called MK and they said they'll fix it once for him out of warrantee. I'd call them and see what they say.

The shaft is okay i broke the base where the front pivot goes through and the autopilot died the two combined make it not worth fixing IMO.
