Giant Montana Northern Pike Could Set Record
A fisheries biologist with Montana Fish, Wildlife and parks says a Kalispell angler has likely set a world record for northern pike caught by fly fishing after hauling in a 29.74-pound, 47-inch-long fish.

Holy Mother of Esocids now that's a pike!! Too bad he killed it but still a remarkable feat.

Now that's a great pike for the USA. I've been near Kalispell but didn't get a chance to catch a 27 lb northern.
