I agree! This should be looked at as the MMA being at the least partially reponsible for the current state of musky fisheries in the state of Michigan and this great 50lb class fish. A loss of a great fish but hopefully a positive eye opener for the DNR and the GLS program.

Someone mentioned, Hemi I think, that the boat ramps are being worked on. Is this going to cause any problems?

Gary and I both enjoyed ourselves for the first time for both of us on the lake. We got a 31' and a slighty larger pike. The clear water and cisco baitfish got me excited. I'll certainly fish it again.

I'm planning on it. It will be my first time on Murray. I've been told that I will like it.

I wanted to say thanks to Scott and Don for organizing the Ovid outing. A good turn out and a great job with the grill and raffle. It was good to see friends and faces, new and old.

Just a reminder that I will be bringing a Beckman net along with a box of baits that will all be for sale.

To piggyback off of Chad's post. A few of you had shown interest in a Beckman net and a few baits I put up for sale earlier in the season. I'll be bringing them to the Ovid outing.
