Apparently, there's a 72" muskie that hangs out in the Moot every spring without fail. Surprising, as the story comes from a very educated and competitive bass fisherman that knows his stuff and has caught decent muskies in the past...yet swears the fish is as large as he is tall. He's not a BS'er a...

Used to make my own, but now have John at Stealth make mine...even my fly leaders. He can make them faster and cheaper than I can do them myself and mostly, I trust him to make my leaders. I use 100 and 130 for fly, and 230 for every bait when I casted gear. Never used one of Chad's, but knowing Cha...

Awesome story Scott! I remember when I went from a sweetwater fisherman to a saltwater guy. There's no going back. I've obviously been all sweetwater the past several years living on LSC, but I'm anxious to get to my next unit and hit the salt. The good thing about saltwater is that you can apply so...

They come with with a single power handle becaue technically, they're designed as a jigging reel; not meant to be cast. I've used LJV's in the past and just hold the thumb bar down and it works fine for me. I hold the thumb bar down on my Tranx as well, even though everyone says you don't need to......

Welcome to the most ridiculous niche in fishing I've ever been a part of. (In a good way.) Even West Coast steelheaders aren't as consumed and obsessed as most muskie fishermen I know. Save up on vacation days from work and get yourself a moon phase chart and you're on your way! Stop by the Stealth ...

Re: Michigan Muskie show
I haven't heard much about the up coming show this weekend. What I have heard on muskiefirst is a lot of bashing about the promotion/promotors of the show. What's up with that? I know I will be going to the show. Hopefully it's a good turnout and there will be more booths then last year. What's you...

Twice in one thread guys are talking about themselves in the third person. Jeff thinks that's funny. All joking aside, I might just suggest you consider picking a body of water and stick with it. You can miss a bite really easily by "ya shoulda been here yesterday" when you were on another...
