I had new bow mounted trolling motor installed. When stowed, it hangs out over the bow about a foot or more. Now the tarp does not fit over the trolling motor. Anyone have this problem and what was your solution?

For long term storage I put a $50 quick release mounting plate under the trolling motor so I can remove it. For short term am lucky my cover will go over the head and shaft, just leaving the lower unit sticking out, not so nice but works for me.
