I took my little guy out to murray again this morning...more to see whats going on than anything, water was 77 at about 6:30, and when i left at 9 it was 78.5. Still clear with a lot of visibilty, large clumps of bright green "mung" (my dads terminology there) drifting around. Isaw a about 10 muskies hanging out over deeper water with their backs out of the water, but nothing (as in bass bluegills...pretty much nothing) was remotely active this morning.

Murray was 76 at the west launch at 4:45 am. I fished till about 10:00 with no follows or sightings both casting and some trolling. A boat trolling said had the same luck.

Weather in GR this weekend is suppose to get pretty cold. Overnight lows may get below 50 degrees. This just might be what we needed to get the water temps around here down to fishable levels.

Ill be fishin Torch Lake area this weekend, with these temps and 25 mph winds I might need to bring my November gear...maybe itll wake these muskies up tho
