Haha, sweet! I'll bring it anyhow, it deserves a good look from everyone, and a chance that I get distracted... how do these things cast anyhow? Will Schultz wrote:Leave the bait at home and just bring a check for $250.vano397 wrote:Yeah, and it it's already at my house! I'd like to see this one in person. I heard pictures don't do it justice. By the way they cast great, it's reeling them back in that's the hard part.vano397 wrote: Haha, sweet! I've witnessed this first hand. It was an ego thing.

OK, here is my teaser. Of course I wait till the last minute to get it done, but steelhead season has been here, and those people procrastinate more than I do
Anyhow, This years banquet rod is a Tackle Industries, 9' XH. I of course did my normal custom split grip, using some interesting mixed cork as an inlay into burnt cork grips with composite caps, to keep the high wear spots a little more durable. I used Fuji SiC rings on titanium framed medium heavy casting guides. Don't get any better for weight and hardness out of those! I used a size 20 Fuji deluxe casting seat, and a heavy wire size 2 snake guide as a hook keeper. The tip is a wrap on titanium tube, with SiC ring also, which I make a little bigger in diameter as protection from swivels
Anywho, no one cares about that stuff so here is a few pics.

Chris, it's all yours this year. I don't need a pair of them.
Re: MMA BANQUET/FUNDRAISER 2016
He already has a pair. He's now going for the trifecta. Just like when I said I don't need two custom headlocks from Tom and sold the one I had to make room for the Atlantic salmon. Wills cryptic nature is rubbing off on all of us.bym8060 wrote:Chris, it's all yours this year. I don't need a pair of them.
