Yeah, and it it's already at my house! I will bring it to the banquet, to show everyone, donate a craps ton of money, then bring it home
Leave the bait at home and just bring a check for $250.

Haha, sweet! I'll bring it anyhow, it deserves a good look from everyone, and a chance that I get distracted... how do these things cast anyhow?

I'd like to see this one in person. I heard pictures don't do it justice. By the way they cast great, it's reeling them back in that's the hard part.

I've witnessed this first hand. It was an ego thing.

OK, here is my teaser. Of course I wait till the last minute to get it done, but steelhead season has been here, and those people procrastinate more than I do [smilie=gayfight.gif]
Anyhow, This years banquet rod is a Tackle Industries, 9' XH. I of course did my normal custom split grip, using some interesting mixed cork as an inlay into burnt cork grips with composite caps, to keep the high wear spots a little more durable. I used Fuji SiC rings on titanium framed medium heavy casting guides. Don't get any better for weight and hardness out of those! I used a size 20 Fuji deluxe casting seat, and a heavy wire size 2 snake guide as a hook keeper. The tip is a wrap on titanium tube, with SiC ring also, which I make a little bigger in diameter as protection from swivels [smilie=bangtard.gif]
Anywho, no one cares about that stuff so here is a few pics.

Chris, it's all yours this year. I don't need a pair of them.

He already has a pair. He's now going for the trifecta. Just like when I said I don't need two custom headlocks from Tom and sold the one I had to make room for the Atlantic salmon. Wills cryptic nature is rubbing off on all of us.
