This year will mark the first year that MMA will be a part of the Sportsmen for Youth event held in Muskegon. This event seemed like a great idea to have a booth at, and the Education Committee is asking for help from anyone who is available. Last year, this event had approximately 3,000 kids and 2,000 adults come through the gates, and it's growing every year. The kids of today are the voices of our sports in the next couple decades, and we want to make sure that we raise awareness on topics of importance. It's only a 1 day event, and if you can find time to bring your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, etc here, please do! The event is FREE!! Please see the link here for any additional info. http://sportsmenforyouth.com/
If you can find the time to help, please email me at: jimtenhaaf@gmail.com We will be having a game for the kids, and our regular show booth to help educate. We're anticipating a busy crowd!

Hey guys, I know this is last minute, but we are looking for help this upcoming Saturday (12th) for this event. The event runs from 9am - 3pm and we will have our booth set up along with some games and handouts for the kids. This will be the first time MMA will have a booth at this event and it would be nice to get a lot of interest. We've heard it can get really busy so we would love to get as many volunteers as possible and the work shouldn't be too difficult. Helping out will most likely involve helping the kids with the little games we have, handing out MMA stickers, answering the random questions kids have, etc. Please volunteer if you can, even if it's just for an hour or two. Hopefully we can make this an annual event for MMA and it's a great way to get education out there to the young sportsmen.
If you wish to volunteer, just reply to this thread with the time you can help out.
