Here is my sneak peak... I will leave it up to your imagination I guess, but I am doing some kinda fun inlays this year in the cork with a new color pattern that only I have  Also, It is being built on a TI Medium Heavy 8'6" blank... yup not 9'.
Rated at 1-6 oz lures. I am thinking a great one for bucktails, and gliders, and topwater, and lots of stuff. Might be a little soft in the tip for ripping cranks but would cast smaller twitch lures really well (like little claws and slammer minnows).
Fuji reel seat (the blank diameter wont let me use what I wanted, but is standard and bullet proof anyway) and custom winding checks the let me take down more cork and decrease weight a little more.
The guides will be Fuji Torzite! yes, Torzite, I wouldn't do it because I don't they are necessary for the price of them, but Fuji is sending me a set of K series Torzite guides. These are the guides being put on the new St Croix Legend Extreme rods. Retail on the guides would be nearly $200!

QUESTION, HOOK KEEPER OR NO????

That is going to be one serious twitchbait stick!

Drill a hole in the trigger as a hook keeper maybe? I know someone that does that to all his rods.

Why is this thread in the Members Only forum? Isn't our Banquet a good way to attract non-members to come and maybe join?

That's a good question and you're not the first to ask. Bottom line, I'm an idiot and haven't moved it...

nope, does that mean you don't like drilling??? I've done some testing and kinda like it. You can beat on the seat with a sledge and it won't break at the hole. It would crush the rod first.
