DNR/MSU fishing survey

Has anyone else received a survey in the mail from MSU? It just asked general questions regarding fishing preferences, targeted species, trips taken. They said they sent them to a small amount of people who purchased a fishing license, and that the information would be used in the future. Dose anyone know what this survey is going to be used for exactly? I sent mine in today with my last skunkings.

We use to get something similiar when MSU did their study on people's health who ate a lot of salmon etc.. never got the survey you mentioned..

I think that's a ongoing random survey Mary Bremigan is working on with the DNR. It just gives a general idea of angler satisfaction.
