Michigan Muskie show
I haven't heard much about the up coming show this weekend. What I have heard on muskiefirst is a lot of bashing about the promotion/promotors of the show. What's up with that? I know I will be going to the show. Hopefully it's a good turnout and there will be more booths then last year. What's your opinion on the show? Anybody got any updates on the show?

I will be there Saturday morning. I agree that there has been absolutely no push for this show and I don't know why. Hopefully word of mouth will be strong enough to get people there and next year things are better. As far as the show goes, I think it's great, I just wish they served beer.

This show needs to do well this year, both being new and after last year. The stuff on M1st comes from frustration over the lack of advertising and difficulty hearing back from the show promoter. I know three major vendors that WONT be there because they couldn't get a reply to their emails or phone calls. I talked to a few vendors at the OH show that were actually curious as to if the show was even still happening or not because they hadn't heard anything on it. I hope the word is out and the people come.

I just got back from helping out at the booth. Very slow today. Hopefully it is much busier the next couple days. We did get a couple of prospective new members though so hopefully they will sign up. One guy lives on Budd lake and I think he might join. It was nice meeting some members for the first time too.Steve S wrote:Anybody go to the show today? How was it??
