Hey guys, this would be a great time to start letting people know about an empty seat. A good way to get to know one another. I plan on hitting Lsc and Hudson mainly. Save some money with some carpooling!

Agreed, many of my trips will be largely contigent on me finding a partner (or 2) to split fuel costs with. I'm pretty bummed about the costs, I was hoping to get up north a few times this summer, not sure now.

It's a sickening thing that gas prices go up every time someone in the middle east farts. Gas is going up because they want it to and unfortunately there's nothing we can do about it. It just means fewer trips and closer trips when I can go which sucks because I only catch 1 muskie a year as it is

As the season get's closer we should set up a thread, or even a section for folks to car pool or whatever.

If we all work together we should still be able to fish as much as normal.

Starting opening day we should post how much we spend on gas each trip. The total for everyone would be off the hook!! ( like most of my fish)

Last season, I spent ~700 in boat gas. Another 700-800 in the truck... If it hits $5/gal, this year is gonna sting.

Thank God one of my adopted fishing partners is rich and lives with his parents. I intend to abuse that pretty hard in 2011...

I will be making trips to the Ludington MCWA walleye pond and justify the same day few extra miles to Hamlin Lake with my small boat and truck tailgate operation.

Probably going to the Ovid outing, the Bruce and live on Hudson (closest to home). The other ones are to far away and can't afford them, plus they involve camping, hate camping had enough of that in the service.

If you got room in the boat, I'd like to learn a thing or two about Hudson this year....

This got me thinking about the banquet this weekend, and the fact that Im going to be at Shanty Creek for the week and weekend. So I might as well offer, since Im up there and will going back after the banquet, if anyone who lives up that way wants to carpool to lansing, or even better, if anyone wasn't going cuz of the drive and the gas, Id be glad to have a passenger or two!
Let me know
