Michigan Muskie Fever

Post by Brad Roberts » Mon Sep 13, 2010 11:25 pm

Hello everyone, new member on the site. Im from about 20 miles south of Detroit but I'm a student at Western Michigan. I was wondering if anyone does any fishing on Bankson or Austin. I normally fish for them on the Detroit River or the Canadian side of Lake St. Clair. But me and a buddy got into a few fish on both Austin and Bankson late spring/early summer.

First off welcome to the site. I'm new to muskie fishing but have been hitting up Austin the last few weekends. I've had a couple follows but no hookups yet. I've never fished Bankson. Good luck.

I fish them both quite frequently. Your best bet would be Austin. Better get out there this year though because after another winter spearing season there probably wont be much left out there. Good luck and welcome to the site.
