Thanks Scott and Don, and everyone else, it was a lot of fun and a great feed too! Really generous of you, and not even accepting donations towards it. Hell I even left with two lures that are way better than the four losers I brought! I salute all those who caught fish too. I think I made all the w...

Great job by all and especially you, Trevor. I think it was an excellent event, I liked the new location with its lower costs and higher returns for the cause, the wide variety of items, how well organized it was, hell we even got to eat more than ever! Thanks very much for an outstanding job!

STOP BUYING MUSKIE TACKLE IMMEDIATELY!!!

The subject line is a shameless attempt to get you to open this and remind you of all the great merchandise that will be available at the March 3 banquet. Last year was my first, and not knowing any better I had already done plenty of winter tackle buying before the banquet. I really regretted that ...

The Realfish Bullhead did well for me this year, including my best fish of the year so far. It runs well, upright and with a wobble I like due to a curved bottom vs. the flat bottom of Bulldawgs. But yes the whiskers and eyes were gone instantly and it's easily torn up, have tried to keep it going v...

Have some Cabela's Goretex gloves that are decent but not waterproof enough, likewise with some neoprene types I've tried. Tried Sealskinz and was disappointed, coldest damn gloves I've ever owned. So still looking for a better option and will try that tip from Tony Grant, thanks Jason.

My favorite bucktails I call the Chadsters, made by MMA's very own Chad Sandy. The best components and bucktail, well balanced, perfect! Orange blade and black bucktail has been my favorite for musky in part since I tend to throw blades more in lower light conditions. Brisk retrieve for musky, slow ...

An extra set of gloves if it's cold. Soaked the only pair I brought this weekend and really paid for it on a cold morning.

Make my own, have tried a variety of wire brands/types in the process. Right now I'd have to say single strand titanium is my favorite for all casting, with stay-lok snaps. Had some trouble for a while making good connections with it, it's so smooth even 2 sleeves on the connections seemed risky, re...

I like to get the boat in while it's still dark since I've had plenty of contact in the pre-dawn through daybreak. My actual catching of these early morning muskies has not been great, just plain poor execution it seems. My hook-up and boating ratio seems better through the rest of the day, due in p...

Thanks Chad and everyone else who made it such a great banquet! It was my first with hopefully many more to follow. The event was very well organized, interesting and informative including the speakers, and lots of fun such as bidding on great stuff and meeting fellow Esox addicts. Most importantly ...

Thanks Kingfisher and Kid C., my first reaction was those Ugly Stik catfish rods which I really like for trolling too, but I wimped out of saying so since they are so cheap to buy I almost feel guilty or something. I also like a 7' heavy Tyger for trolling, seems like it can handle anything but I ha...

Tom, maybe you should leave some scattered 6/0 trebles on the floor of your boat the next few weeks, that scumbag could use a few in his bass.
