FOR SALE: MinnKota Maxxum 70 lb thrust bow mount

Have always like hand control bow mounts, easy...

I might try to put one legal muskie in a small kids pool in my yard and see how many times I can catch her this season.

Thanks Duke, just sent my pike response and will speak to muskies later. Thanks in advance to all others who voice their support toward improving our Esocid fisheries. Our pike and musky resources have amazing potential, here's to hoping we can realize more of it through better management practices.

Thanks for making this happen! And Mott's fixed my son's heart a few years back when no one else could, like they do for so many others in this region. An incredible place for sure.

Scott my hours per fish sure isn't good but I don't track it since I think I could get too pist off if I did! I'm not happy with numbers or sizes this year so I'd rather not even post a summary, though it seems the average size of the fish has increased the past two years for me, with the numbers do...

Just fish pike, it's been a good summer for them as I left the muskies alone...not that I bother them much when after them anyway!

I checked two non-muskie lakes the past three days, they were similar in size to SW muskie lakes (200-500 acres with decent depths). Anyway, 83-86 at the surface, seems time to give our fish a break on most waters (in my opinion), but maybe 80s for highs and some rains will help get waters down to 8...

Holy freaking s--- I get so pist when I hear things like this from that imbecile that I shouldn't even post a reply. I get more pist knowing that he's actually had some success with his goal of Esox eradication. But thanks for the heads up, and on a positive note this can serve to motivate us and ot...

Thanks Chad, those pics brought back fond memories of that great trip! If Esox Angler had lasted a little longer, our adventure article would've been out there (complete with the swimming caribou!).

Definitely a beautiful pike, have caught a few with the more twisted, elongated worm shaped markings instead of bean shaped, got a dandy in Canada with Chad that I had a nice pic of before the last PC crash.
